Pre-press

Our pre-press department operates within a three shift, 24 hour system to cope with the most demanding of deadlines. We offer a full artwork and amendment service, scanning, digital hard and soft proofing, state of the art computer to plate technology and proof reading facilities.

The department is fully equipped with Apple iMac workstations running the latest Adobe Creative Suite software, and we use Kodak ‘Prinergy’ workflow and 'Upfront' imposition software to manage and control the entire process. We are able to integrate fully with any third party systems and pride ourselves on forming relationships with our clients’ own design agencies and creative suppliers.

Three fully calibrated Epson colour plotters run digital proofs and Gretag Eye One and ISO Litho Colour 12647-2 accreditation ensure total colour management.

Communication through our FTP site for uploading and downloading artwork is further enhanced through Kodak’s ‘Insite’ software which acts as an Internet portal into the Prinergy workflow system. ‘Insite’ offers full job submission, status tracking, online proofing, annotation and approval facilities together with full hierarchical reporting.
